NON-YIELDING mine prop product category.

Our 50 and 100 ton
non-yielding mine props are currently used in underground mines throughout the US with excellent results, and we are working on two additional new prop designs.

AMD Co. will soon offer a 50 ton, non-yielding design prop featuring extremely quick installation, lightweight, and with no threaded members. We are also in the design process on a 50 ton “yielding” mine prop to complement our existing products.

American Mine Door's mine props are simple, dependable, and reusable by design. One man installation of our mine props means you not only save on the purchase of our economical design, but continue to save on personnel time during installation.

AMD's unique design keeps the screw from spinning during installation, allowing a single miner to efficiently secure each mine prop in place. No loose parts, no jacks, no Velcro straps, no pumps, no loose bolts, no collars, and no wedges assure ease of installation. The top plate is stationary and will not rotate during height adjustment.

Available in two load rating capacities: 50 ton and 100 ton.
Simple and efficient design allows a single miner to quickly install the AMD Mine Prop.
Less material handling than wood props: more steel props can be transported per truck or rail car than wood props; which in turn allows more props to be installed in less time.
Will not disrupt your mine's ventilation plan, like other "bulky" props.
Available with 12" adjustable tops and in heights from 4 feet to 11 feet (order in 6" increments).
“Extended spindles.” Available in 18” and 24” optional lengths vs. standard 12” adjustment.
Flat Plate, Canadian Head or Yieldable Dish Prop tops available.
